Zusammenarbeit!

Jimmy Choo and UGG Australia made a collection together-800$ of pure warmth worn on your feet sound fantastic. Austria is becoming a kind of winter wonderland again. It's octobre and we already measure 4°C and it snows down to 1000m. "Die Eismänner" came quite fast and surprisingly, so most of us bloggers aren't actually prepared. What can we do to protect ourselves? Go shopping? Well, that may be the right decision but i'd better get myself some money before doing so, should I?

Purchasing...

...can be so annoying. I have to save my pennies, but I need a coat(or vest, or cape, or leather and sheepskin jacket) for the freezingly cold Austrian winter. You have probably been there too, haven't you?

(these two pictures were taken at two different times of a day. you can tell the difference)

I adore this outfit sincerely. It looks so much like school uniform which I always wanted to have. In Austria, we go to school as we wake up-there's not a lot of thinking about an outfit in the morning. But sometimes when we go out, we actually wear something. It's a miracle. Do you understand what I want to say? I guess not. Even I don't. Ha-ha

Additionally, I don't think there is a lot of sense in explaining where my clothes are from anymore. Most of it is vintage-that means not the kind of vintage you might think of. For instance this skirt. My aunt gave it to me. Or my new Chanel-like vest-I just call it "new". It is actually 40 years old and my grandmom's. That's what I call vintage.

I adore it. Very nice. Visit the french Vogue homepage to enjoy their collection of trends... There's no style without the French(wo)men.

but did you know...

...that when it snows my eyes become large and the light that you shine can't be seen.

These weeks are marked with lots of stress. But in between enjoying the love to drama and dancing is relieving all the tension. I wish each and every one of you a great moment. Well, why just a moment? Because it's not the moments where you breathe, but those which take your breath away.

His name is Garfield and we are going to marry. When? Hm. I guess when I've gotten to know him. Actually, ultramarine OR me. She adores him equally. Well, who wouldn't? Invitations to the wedding of the year follow soon.

the drama vs. the movies

As an aspiring actor you'll certainly come to this question one day: "Shall I do drama or movie?" It's a long way to get to this question and if you actually got this far-you will decline a deep depression. Desperately seeking fot the right answer you will go to the theatre to find yourself crying in your seat, praying to god for once being like this gorgeous Medea you just enjoyed on stage. Then you go home. If you're lucky you'll just read a magazine like Vogue and read an article about Uma Thurman killing Bill. But if you got bad luck(and its february) you'll switch on the TV and see the Oscars on TV. Now you will sit crying in your seat again-begging for an Oscar or "just" a nomination or "simply" an invitation. You'll be torn for the next three weeks.

After three weeks(or more) you'll decide what to do. After 2 hours you will negotiate you ever decided and go to the theatre again. And it starts all over again.

I have spent lots(and lots, and lots, and lots, and lots, and lots...) of money in theatre visits. And cinema visits. And magazines. I Guess Carine Restoin-Roitfeld and Anna Wintour owe me some money.(Yes, I do try to read the French Vogue. But mind the small word "try") Perhaps one day I will pay for blogs(and hopefully earn some for blogging). But for now...

...I am happy to announce the following: The decision is made!

Grüezi!

To all the women out there: Learn how to unterstand swiss accent! Because Lee Rychter(the handsome guy above and below) was born and raised in Switzerland. Guess what he is. Quite a good actor-and I express myself humbly. Well, I don't want to say too much. Just watch him. He's the nixt big thing. Really.

come here, cute face

That gorgeous woman is called Nora Zehetner. She carries an Austrian name and that's what makes her even more sympathic to me. You think you know her cute face? She's "Grey's Anatomy"s Dr. Reed Adamson who passed away recently. Well, If anyone can't see why I adore her have a look at the pics above. Her eyes just freak me out. Besides, her hairdo is great. I'd love to wear that kind of pixie in red but obviously my coiffeuse didn't allow me so. AND: She looks so much alike Twiggy.

Vielen Dank für die Blumen

I was given flowers by my proud mom and grandmom for "Nachtfalter". Only THE entertainer can explain how to say thank you in a moment like this.

metamorphosis

From a butterfly to a moth-what's next? As I announced already "Nachtfalter"-which is the sequel of "Schmetterling"- premiered last Friday. (No, not this week and Yes, I am late) Written by Claudia Papst it's all about relationships and as you can see on the pictures sex! 3 boys and 3 girls meet and they fall in love-do they? All my gratitude is to be directed to the authoress. What a classy sentence, isn't it?

Half past 6 in the morning

It's getting constantly colder in good old Austria and I'm getting constantly less dressed(except for my hands). Actually I am having a good clothing-period(I get up late but wear an outfit I actually like) which I celebrate by getting up even later and wearing good outfits too. I guess I shouldn't take that too far otherwise it will turn on me one day. So I'll better not touch the snooze button the next weeks. Who's with me? I'd say nobody.
